Haute Route 2027
Trek one of Europe’s most iconic trails—from Chamonix, France, to Zermatt, Switzerland, against the backdrop of the Matterhorn. This 14-day non-technical journey combines world-class alpine views with supportive, small-group camaraderie. Technically, this will be a self-guided trip using a service such as MACS Adventure. Trip Highlights & Logistics
- The Route: A non-technical, ~14-day trek through world-famous alpine terrain. Expect daily elevation gains between 2,000 to 3,500 feet (with optional gondola/transit routes for higher-gain days).
- Accommodations: Fully managed by a professional mountain service outfit. You will stay in traditional, comfortable mountain huts with warm meals and real beds provided (no heavy camping gear or food carrying required).
- Team Leader: Bryan serves as your team leader, coordinator, and training coach—guiding group preparation to ensure everyone is conditioned and ready for the trail.
- Fitness Preparation: No prior elite fitness level required. A tailored 4-to-6-month conditioning plan will be provided to get you trail-ready.
Costs & Timeline
- Trip Date: July to September 2027. To be determined by the group and our accommodations agency.
- Target Group Size: Limited to 5–6 participants. It is possible for us to bring a second group of 5-6 if there is enough interest.
- Budget Breakdown:
- Trip Package: ~$5,000 (huts, logistics, coordination)
- Airfare: Varies by location
- Gear Budget: ~$1,000 (boots, trekking poles, alpine shells)
- Total Estimated Investment: ~$8,000–$10,000
- Registration Deadline: Team selection and deposits will be finalized by September/October 2026.
